About the Marathon

Starting outside the historic Town Hall in Bridge St, the Marathon heads out Tooms Lake Rd, where there’s a drink station and portaloo at the turn around point.  Running back towards the Township, the course turns right at Wellington St then left into Park St where there’s another drink station and toilets available at the Recreation ground.

Continuing on Park Street into New Street, the course then turns left down The Boulevards to Church St. Turning left, runners head the full length of Church Street, which is the main street that runs through the beautiful town of Ross before turning right across the historic Ross Bridge then back to the start/finish line.  The full marathon covers the course loop four times with your time being recorded for each lap.

The drink station at the start/finish line will have both water and electrolyte drinks available and runners in the Marathon have the option of leaving personal drinks/gels etc at both stations on the course with separate tables available for personal items.

The full marathon has a 5 hour cut off time, allowing for most runners to complete the course.  If you wish to take part in the Marathon but are not confident you can complete the course in under five hours, please contact the organisers at info@rossmarathons.org.au to discuss your needs.

All event finishers will receive a Ross Marathons medal after crossing the line.

Snacks will be available free for all runners in the Town Hall following the events.
